Inspiration
This is more of a general inspiration list for this project cuz i want to be a nerd about it.
Games
- Elden ring: this is my most recent inspiration as i just started very playing recently and honestly i suck ass but either way i've seen the lore and it's so interesting and i really was missing out. i'll probably will check out similar games from the same studio like Darksouls and Bloodborne but like from far cuz again, im really bad with those types of games xD
- Kenshi: FUCKS ASS but seriously the best open world with a bit of RP in a squad(?) game, the visuals are great and i love the armor designs, the faction conflicts and worldbuilding are genious and its pretty addictive as a game, its very rough from the start but honestly if youre interested in post-apocalyptic settings and have lots of free time i really recommend it.
- Hylics: is great, but i didnt really played it, what i like is the mediums used, like using 3d (or was it recorded videos?) that have that stopmotion look, also the sound design is great, but yeah what i mostly like about Hylics is the visuals.
- Dreadout: What i like of this game is the visuals and character design, if i could make a 3D game, it would be like this.
- Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk: Hear me out, it's the visuals again, if i could make an interactive visual novel, it would be like this.
Artists
- Frank Frazetta, i've tried my best to understand his art because it's great, mostly the way he renders shadows and his knowledge of human anatomy, also its funny how he always drew almost naked men so he could render the muscles.
- Edwin Landseer, he is a great inspiration due to his animal art, my favorite piece of his is Man Proposes, God Disposes.
- More modern artists like yapico and momopatchii, but honestly my inspiration is the way they draw, not really aesthetic related, also plastiboo is great.
- I'm inspired by more artists but i like their paintings and don't know their names, so in general you can get a more broad idea of my inspirations via looking at my Pinterest
