The Rift Entity is the name given to the genus of monstrous creatures that plagued Terminus millennia ago.

With an origin forgotten over time, the stories of their origins differ across cultures, though the bitter memory of their existence is a trait they all share. At this day, all that remains of the existence of these creatures besides historical accounts is a figure carved in quartzite showing one of these creatures holding a long, sword-like weapon.

Their name is given after the area from where they emerged, The Rift, a large ravine that extends through the territory of the Altan Empire. They once unleashed a wave of death and destruction on their path until their final defeat.
They killed a large number of True Lycanthropos after they were used during the war that previously occurred, and thanks to this fight, the numbers of the rift entities were somewhat weakened.
